About Us

The Origin of the Practice can be traced back some 120 years, when in 1897 James M. Magee was admitted to the roll of Solicitors of the Law Society of Ireland. His commenced practice in O’Connell Street in Dublin (then known as Sackville Street).

During the easter rising in 1916 most of that street including his office, was destroyed. James M. Magee moved his offices, initially to Parliament Street in Dublin, and from there in 1922 to Bray, County Wicklow, where he continued to practice until his death in 1949.
